Advisory Board
Dave GardaSpecialty: Consulting and Ministry TrainingDave is an experienced pastor and coach since 1979 and has partnered with and mentored our executive director since 1994. Dave (and Rennie) serve with Cadre Missionaries as disciplemaking missionaries called to help churches and families understand and live disciplemaking friendships. They are directly involved with developing training tools and those who multiply disciplemaking as they model, teach, train, coach and mentor leaders and teams globally. One ends a conversation with them feeling encouraged … and most likely with an empty cup of coffee. |
Jerry CastoSpecialty: Lay Elder and Conflict ResolutionJerry works hard and wise in the business world yet still makes time to be available and plugged in at the Buckhannon C&MA church for over 40 years. He is a decorated wrestler and coach that has balanced work and church ministry as an Elder, youth volunteer, small group leader and short term missionary. His servants heart, encouragement, insight and ability to move people from point A to B while calming nerves and anxiety brings credible experience and counsel to our team. |
Steve McNightSpecialty: Youth Ministry and Team BuildingSteve is the Senior pastor at Christian Alliance Church and has been pastoring for over 29 years. His passion is helping people develop a genuine relationship with Jesus Christ and encouraging them to make a difference in their world. His ability to gather adult volunteers and unleash them to serve in the church is a skill that needs to be multiplied. |
Jeff NorrisSpecialty: Bishop and Church Staff OversightJeff brings over 35 years experience as a Senior Pastor and District Superintendent to our team. His knowledge is complemented by his ability to create an environment that allows the freedom for his church staff to be real and transparent. His integrity and passion to lead a church that reaches the lost, least and last is uncompromised and challenging to all pastors. |
Al JonesSpecialty: Pastoral LeadershipAl brings a freeing reality and relevance to life as he oversees one of my favorite churches. (Favorite due to the intentional and maintained obedience to God and the seeking of Kingdom things that are present on earth. It’s a true 1 Corinthians 12-14 gathering.) The freedom to not wear masks and a God-encountering atmosphere make spending time with Al something to look forward each time we are in Bakersfield. |
Steve BohmanSpecialty: Finances and Military LeadershipSteve brings 30 years of finance and a banking background to our team. He serves as a Colonel in the Army as well as being the assistant Treasurer of the State of W.V.. |
Chad CastoSpecialty: Program and Contract ManagementChad brings a passionate and entrepreneurial background to our team. He is a former youth group kid I was able to watch grow up as well as being another military veteran added to the mix. I look forward to more brainstorming on how to make our Community Impact better. |
