Disciplemaking Genius of Jesus

This interactive experience involves reading the Disciplemaking Genius of Jesus book, together! While reading you will develop a simple big picture understanding on how to live out the principles of Jesus, first in your life and family. Your clarity will provide boundaries for your programs and overall church ministry. Your convictions will help guide your group teaching times and your personal friendships.

DLC Training

Disciple-making Learning Communities are a cohort group of aspiring Jesus-like disciplemakers that starts September and ends in April. There is a fee to join one of these groups as you journey through issues related to leading your big/small/youth group led by a seasoned mentor. Contact us for a group nearest you or if you would like us to start one in your area.

Fundamentals of Leadership Relationships II

This workshop (rewritten Sonlife’s Foundations seminar) explores four foundational principles that every leader must have in place in our group relationships. We start with defining our biblical mission, role as a shepherd-leader and the RU ready for Leadership? challenge. We then explore how to create an atmosphere of love and prayer, have creative teaching, and genuine worship. We conclude with ways to bond group relationships inside our programs and outside our programs.

How do 1st century Jesus-like disciplemaking programs cross over into the 21st century Western world? This workshop explores how to evaluate, improve, or even change your current church programs to ensure maximum effectiveness and alignment with your ministry vision.

Building Groups

This workshop was created specifically for an expanded version of the group bonding session during the Fundamentals of Relationships II seminar when done over a weekend setting. Customized to your group needs from low impact initiatives or low ropes course activities to high ropes course initiatives. On the ground or off the ground your group will be challenged to … bond together!

Leadership Step Three : Maximizing Effectiveness

How to Help Peers Reach Peers

How to Begin a Ministry Team where friends help their Peers encounter Jesus and then continue to grow their relationship with God. A place where students and adults can also develop leadership skills that will help them build group relationships.

How to begin Group Outreach

In this workshop we discuss how to effectively help our students do Group Outreach programs and avoid the pitfalls and trap of doing an event for events sake.
